What Makes My Mother's Books Unique

Dear Reader,

Barbara Nelson Blinn's works are unique because of their diversity. Barbara was a poet as well as a short-story and novel writer. She wrote about everyday life and the struggles individuals face in understandable language. Even though the language is simple, there is an appeal to the undereducated, the graduate-educated, young children, and grandparents. She wrote to the worker, the downhearted, and to those whose faith is important in their lives.  Some of the writings date as far back as 1958 and were handwritten on yellowed paper, and some are as recent as 2005. None of them have been published in book format until now, nearly twenty years after her death.  I hope you enjoy!

Sincerely,

Carol Ann Blinn White
