Genevieve Blinn is portrayed as Betty Washington in Bullheaded Inner Strength. Genevieve was an overinvolved parent hat developed an unhealthy relationship with her son in that she gave him no boundaries and everything he wanted. She resented Barbara for taking her son Jean from her and treated her cruelly. Even though she looks like a caring grandmother to Marky, Genevieve treated him poorly, even though her husband spoiled him the best he could. In Bullheaded Inner Strength the reader will learn of some of Genevieve Blinn's hideous acts against her family as she portrayed the upstanding and respected school teacher in the community.
