Jean Blinn, Jr.

The pictures below show a man who was made into a selfish and sociopathic adult by his mother. He developed severe mental problems and substance abuse that turned him into a dangerous man. Barbara always assured Carol that she and her dad were happy once, but Genevieve Blinn's meddling and controlling ways led to the demise of their marriage. The second picture with Marky is one of the few where Jean is posed with his son. He did not take much interest in the child, and Marky's care fell on Barbara because there were no homes or in-home care that would take him during his first nine years of life. The picture in 1979 is how Carol normally remembered her father. The last picture shows Barbara and Jean Blinn as a happy couple that no one would suspect had problems. Barbara wore that mask of happiness out of fear. It is often what women who suffer from domestic violence do to protect themselves and their children.
