Vernon & Goldie Nelson

Barbara's mother, Goldie Engle, was raised in Beaver Dam, Indiana. Her father, Vernon Nelson, was raised near Silver Lake, Indiana. When first married, they set up housekeeping in Claypool, then later moved to their farm just north of Silver Lake where they raised their family.
